When It Comes To Group Health Insurance, One Size Definitely Does Not Fit All.
For over two decades now, small and medium-sized businesses have had trouble finding and accessing quality group health insurance at a reasonable price. And the problem is getting worse. Year

after year, it seems, exorbitant rate increases just keep coming. Employers are cutting back their premium contributions, increasing employee deductibles and co-pays and, in some cases, dropping health insurance altogether.
Often they look to their industry association for help. There is no single association policy, however, that can provide the answer for all or even a majority of an

association’s members. Each member firm’s demographics and their employees’ health status are different and, therefore, their needs are often very different. Geography plays a big role too. Health insurance is regulated by each state, not nationally. Because of this patchwork regulatory system, what’s available in one state may not be offered just across the state line in another. In many states, the policies available are loaded-up with so many legally-mandated benefits that they become completely unaffordable.
It’s complicated. That’s why AMTDA has

selected Affinity Group Underwriters (AGU) to provide their expertise and advice (without any upfront fee, consultation charge or obligation) to members who may want to review their current group health plan or start a new plan for their employees.
