The Producer Tools section of our website is designed to provide you with sales information and access to the forms and brochures you’ll need to explain and sell limited medical insurance to your employer group customers.

We started designing our first limited medical product back in 1999. The need and market have grown considerably since then. The passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and its companion legislation, The Health Care And Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, is a watershed event that will change the landscape for limited medical. The need, however, still exists and our limited medical products are well-positioned to meet it.

The following topics are covered in this section:

  • Market Overview
  • Types Of Limited Medical Plans
  • Health Care Reform
  • Prospects - Businesses That Buy Limited Medical
  • Limited Medical vs. Major Medical
  • Printable Brochure
  • Group Application
  • Employee Enrollment Forms
  • Requesting Custom Quotes

Click on Agent Appointment on the menu bar to register and obtain appointment instructions and materials.

A few words about how we work with you. Affinity Group Underwriters designs, manages and provides front-end administration for limited medical plans. “Front-end administration” means that we handle quoting, policy issue, premium administration and customer service but not claims. We are contracted by the insurer to provide these services.

To distribute the products, we work through independent agents and brokers. Our role is to help you sell business and then administer it once it is on the books. Our compensation consists of administration fees and profit-sharing paid by the carrier. Your job is to identify appropriate prospects and offer this program to them. Working with AGU will not cost you a portion of the commission you would otherwise earn if you worked directly with the carrier. We are a resource and a partner for both the insurance company and the brokers with whom we work.

Thanks for visiting our website and for your interest in our products and services. We look forward to working with you to provide this still much-needed coverage to America’s working uninsured.

Sincerely,

Stephen L. Wyss
Managing Director
