A few words about our respective roles - Affinity Group Underwriters designs, manages and provides front-end administration for limited medical plans. “Front-end administration” means that we handle quoting, policy issue, premium administration and customer service but not claims. We are contracted by the insurer to provide these services. To distribute the products, we work through independent agents and brokers. Our role is to help you sell business and then administer it once it is on the books. Our compensation consists of administration fees and profit-sharing. Your role is to identify appropriate prospects and offer this program to them. Working with AGU will not cost you a portion of the commission you earn. We are a resource and a partner for both the insurance company and the brokers with whom we work.
